InstructionYou are taught by instructors and assistant instructors who have been examined against national standards for therapeutic instruction (after having met CEF and other prerequisites).Right to work with and for qualified instructors and assistant instructors, and to strive to become certified themselves. Knowledge that the clients are receiving effective, safe instruction.Access to nationally certified instructors, assistant instructors and ongoing educational programs for your instructors.
InspectionConfirmation that the place where you ride or drive has been inspected against national standards for safety, appropriate horse care and stable maintenance - full criteria are available on request.Confirmation that you volunteer, give money, work at or sponsor a facility that has been inspected against national standards for safety in the workplace and riding program which complies with acceptable operational standards.The right to confirm to clients and supporters that your centre has met national standards. Eligibility for CanTRA’s customized, national insurance program, designed especially for therapeutic riding.
